Wooden christmas tree

Do you like unique, high quality christmas decorations that will stand the test of time? If so, this wooden christmas tree with rotating branches could be a real talking point in your home. Once you’ve found the perfect location you can organise the branches to suit your own personal style, and decorate it with lights and tinsel, as you would any other christmas tree.

The branches are made from sapele hardwood which is very durable, and has a lovely grain pattern as well as a lovely reddish brown colour. The stem is made from solid oak, and is 2.5cm in diameter to ensure good stability. The base is also made from solid oak, 11cm in diameter and 3.5cm high. It’s a chunky piece of wood which provides enough weight to support the entire tree.

All pieces have been sanded smooth, and finished with oil in order to enhance the colour and grain pattern. Also notice the subtle profile around the top of the base, which adds a bit of texture and interest.

The materials for this wooden christmas tree have come from a sawmill that only works with properly managed forests where felling is controlled to ensure stability.
