This reclaimed wood hallway organiser enables busy people on the go to achieve a clutter free and well organised hallway, where their important bits and pieces are always easily accessible.
Do you ever struggle to find that umbrella when the weather turns? Or is there often a frantic hunt for the house keys before you leave for work? Wave those problems goodbye with this lovely hand-crafted home helper. Featuring an umbrella shelf, small tray, 5 key hooks and a hidden storage compartment.
I have deliberately preserved the history of the wood by leaving in some of the original screw holes, staple marks etc. This is a nod to its previous life, and in my opinion makes it even more attractive and adds an extra level of interest and depth. It’s also a reminder that this item has been created from materials that would otherwise have gone to landfill. So for the eco-conscious among us, it can be displayed with pride.
It has been finished with a dark stain, followed by varnish for a nice sheen and added durability. The surface of this item is very smooth to the touch with nicely rounded edges. And I love that you can feel the contours of the wood as you run your hand across it.
The key hooks are angled upwards at 45 degrees to ensure the keys cannot slide off. And the hidden storage is revealed by simply pulling off the top of the box.
Holes for mounting have been drilled. However screws and wall plugs are not provided because it depends on the wall this is being hung on. Please ensure suitable fittings are used so that the 4Kg weight can be supported. Mounting this item on the wall will require basic DIY skills. So if you are not confident, please get someone with the necessary experience to do it for you.
