Chess table

‘Check’ this out! A one of a kind, multi-functional chess table/dining table. This piece started life as a regular dining table, but with a full refurbish it now provides the perfect surface for your chess or checkers battles. This table allows you to sit in comfort while you’re playing, and as it doubles as a dining table it’s a great space saving solution.

This chess table is painted in coal black, and the paint has been topped with beeswax for extra protection and a beautiful sheen. The top surface is silky smooth, finished with 6 coats of polyurethane varnish for heat and scratch resistance, and easy cleaning. This allows it to be used as a dining table without damaging the chessboard.

2 drawers have been added to hold the chess pieces, you might like to have the white pieces in one, and the black pieces in the other. The drawers have a stopper to prevent them being pulled all the way out.

This piece is the only one of its kind, and will make a unique statement in any home.
