I’ve used a dark oak stain, and finished it with varnish for protection and a lovely sheen. And the chrome handles perfectly complement the dark finish, giving this heart shaped jewellery box that extra wow factor. There are 2 drawers which slide all the way out so the contents can be easily accessed.
