Mango wood sideboard

A solid mango wood sideboard, fully refurbished and ready to make a statement in its new home. Danish oil has been used to highlight the beautiful grain and add a protective layer. And to make this a one of a kind piece, midnight blue paint has been added to certain sections for a lovely contrast. The paint has been over-coated with beeswax to add further protection and a nice reflective sheen.

There are 4 shelves inside offering generous storage space, and the doors have magnetic catches to make sure they stay closed. Mango is a very durable hardwood so this piece is built to stand the test of time.

As this piece is approx 30 years old, there was some minor surface damage when I got it. Some of it was repaired, but some was left in place to provide some character and a nod to its history.
